Basket Making Classes

One Day Basket Making Workshops

Over the course of the day, you will learn how to weave a basic round willow basket. This course is suited to beginners or those who wish to practice the techniques involved in the round basket. Fun and learning guaranteed!

Regular 1 day classes take place in Leitrim Village.

Helena will also travel to you if you would like a basket making class in your area or if you have a group interested.

Weaving Workshops

Full or half-day  weaving workshops are ideal if you want to give weaving a try. Willow and guided tuition provided to help you make bird feeders, plant pots, decorative obelisks or small baskets such as a blackberry basket.

Spring 2023 – Weave a Sweet Pea Planter

Helena can deliver special Sweet Pea Planter Workshops to groups of 6-8 participants throughout Spring 2023. Complete with tuition, materials and sweet pea seeds, you will be guided through the process of weaving a willow obelisk to display your sweet pea blooms throughout the summer.
